We live in a world where information is literally at the tips of our fingers, which affects every area of our personal and professional lives. It has especially influenced the expectations that Imminent IL interviewers have on the amount of knowledge a candidate should possess before an interview.

By showing up to an interview prepared, having done an ample amount of research on the company, its industry, and its leaders shows initiative and true interest in joining Imminent IL. We consider three to four hours of time a good investment, as that should allow for someone to peruse our social media feeds and blogs, while also visiting LinkedIn to learn about our managers.

Another way to be prepared is to practice answers for common queries both in front of a mirror or with a friend. This lets us check our body language to make sure it matches the message we want to send and provides useful feedback to help us improve our delivery.

Also, it’s vital for candidates to be able to speak with accuracy about what’s on their résumés. The most important step of this process is to be honest while writing up a CV and then to review the document at least a couple times before the meeting.

We want potential team members to feel confident and prepared when they sit down with one of our hiring managers. Learn more about our interview strategies by following Imminent IL on Facebook.
