Kim York

Hi! I'm Kim York, and I have a blast running my firm, Imminent. After pursuing a career in political science and law for a short time, I realized that my true passion lay within marketing, and perhaps more importantly, mentoring and building teams and individuals. I have worked in my industry for about 14 years with clients that range from nonprofits and 501(c)(3)'s all the way to Fortune 100 companies. But, as I mentioned above, my favorite part of what I do is helping to mentor others. I am fervent about my own personal development, and since I know so well first hand what it's done to my life, I weave this into my own management style. I have coached many others to fulfill their professional goals through their own personal development. When I'm not keeping busy with my business you can either find me spending time with my family, watching football or baseball and maybe even sharpening my Sommelier skills with a glass of cabernet.

    At Imminent we are always working on ourselves as individuals. We love reading business books, have a book club within the office, regularly have meetings where reflection/analysis of an event or campaign can easily have a self-reflection twist, and overall just value anyone with a student mentality. We believe that you should have the mindset that you’re always learning and that you can learn from anyone regardless of who they are or their experience level.
